Come and See

Saint John’s Abbey offers year-round “Come and See” opportunities for men (ages 18 to 43) to live in the monastery and join the monks in prayer, work, meals, and social activities.

In addition to programmed “Come and See” weekends we are able to schedule an overnight, weekend, or weeklong visit based on your availability.

Because the vocation director at Saint John's is a full time position we are able to have young men visit throughout the year. Though there are times for men from Saint John's University (our college and graduate school here on campus) that have specific live-in opportunities, qualified men typically beyond their college years who are interested in a live-in experience are encouraged to contact Br. Paul-Vincent either by phone (320 363 2548) or email pniebauer@csbsju.edu

It should also be noted that at this time Saint John's Abbey may only accept candidates from the United States and Canada.  In addition, curently will will only accept applications for candiadacy from men ages 23 to 43.
